Borges Douro Reserva White 2023 with 91 points at Público Newspaper

The Borges Reserva Douro White 2023 was scored with 91 points in the Fugas supplement of the Público newspaper. Ana Isabel Pereira describes the wine as a "Reflection of a challenging year", as the producer stresses, this Douro white reserve has a straw color and a stone fruit nose (peach), with a floral side as well. In the mouth, it is elegant and fresh and has a good structure. It fermented in stainless steel vats and finished fermentation in new French oak barrels, where it made bâtonnage on the fine lees for six months. This work gave it volume and makes this wine a good proposal to pair with food, although, in our opinion, the barrel marks it a little. A classic white from the Douro, for the table."
