The use of this site, in any of its domain forms, namely www.vinhosborges.pt, www.vinhosborges.com, www.borgeswines.com and www.borgeswines.wine (hereinafter www.vinhosborges.pt), for which Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges, S.A. 4436-909 Rio Tinto (hereinafter SVB) is responsible, is subject to these Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.

By browsing www.vinhosborges.pt, the User specifically acknowledges that they have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy, as detailed below. 

The site provides information on Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges, S.A. and the products marketed by this company. Therefore, the User should end their visit and leave the site if: (i) they do not agree with or accept either the Terms and Conditions of Use or the Privacy Policy for the site; (ii) they are not of a legal age to consume alcoholic beverages in the country in which they are in. 

While using the site www.vinhosborges.pt, the User undertakes not to engage in any acts that might harm or damage SVB’s image, interests or rights, or those of any third parties, or harm, damage or overload the site or make it unusable or, in any way, prevent the normal use of the site www.vinhosborges.pt.

SVB will not pass on any User’s personal data to third parties without proper authorisation from the User, except when authorities charged with enforcing the law or court rulings request SVB’s collaboration in identifying the User. 

SVB may use the data that the User provides to the site to furnish additional information that is deemed to be of interest to the User, provided that the User has given their consent to the processing of their personal data. Pursuant to Decree-Law no. 7/2004, of 7 January, the User will always be afforded the right to oppose this sending of additional information, by emailing SVB at politicaprivacidade@jmv.pt. 

The User of this site may, at any time, exercise all and any of the rights enshrined in the Personal Data Protection Law, including the right to access, correct, cancel or oppose said personal data. SVB aims to ensure that personal data is up-to-date, accurate and complete. 3. Cookies - Storage of information pertaining to the User 

Pursuant to Law no. 41/2004, of 18 August, Vinhos Borges will only store information or access stored information on the User’s device (through the use of cookies) if the User has given their prior consent to this. The site www.vinhosborges.pt employs cookies to improve the browsing experience. The web server will only log and store that information that is, by definition, usually logged by a server: the internet protocol address that the User used to access the internet; the date the User accessed www.jmv.pt and the duration of their visit and the internet address of the site from which the User directly accessed www.vinhosborges.pt.
The information that is logged is used to measure the number of visits to the various pages that comprise the site, which, in turn, allows SVB to make the site www.vinhosborges.pt more useful to its Users.
